马华公会今天会陷入这样的泥沼。我认为这主要是翁诗杰的3大失误所导致的。
1. 我可以和任何人合作。
翁总在去年党选时，表示自己可以和任何人合作，没有菜单供大家参考。这是一大失误。如果当初他向代表们表示只能跟‘干净’人合作的话，今天就可能不会出现这局面。
2. 对付道德有问题的人
当选后，翁总已前后削弱老蔡的资源。在没有部长资源与联委会主席的‘卫护’下，老蔡实际上是只躲在丛林的‘老’虎。要突围而出并不容易。这时，翁总何必多此一举，向老蔡开刀呢？导致老蔡出师有名。
3. 个人毁誉事小，社会期待事大。
翁总在被投不信任票后，应该仿效前首相，为自己设下‘权力转移计划’。此计划能够为自己争取一些时间，又不失大侠气概。一方面可以堵住‘逼宫’人士，一方面可以安排自己的‘身后事’，另一方面又可挽住名声。（谁晓得以后的事会发生什么事）乃是一项权宜之计。但是，翁总却选择了背弃信义。实乃政治人物之大忌。
